"Navigating the College Application Process 2011"

Tamil Manram is proud to present a college planning workshop. This event may be of interest to you if you have a child in the middle school or high school. We have lined up counselors who can answer questions for you.
The purpose of the workshop is to provide parents with techniques and strategies to help their teens succeed in all aspects of the college application process, both personal and academic, incorporating insights into teens' experiences and feelings, as well as clarifying common misconceptions and offering a broader understanding of how to make choices that are right for your teen.
Besides professional counselors we will have students who are in the college and gone through these challenges and the kids who are in the High School going through it. The parents will have an opportunity to ask questions directly !
This event is for parents only. If you have a middle school or high school student and If you are interested to attend this event, please RSVP at this link so that we will know the number of people who will be attending the event.

Bay Area Tamil Manram (BATM), is the premier non profit organization for Tamil community living in the Bay area.
Bay Area Tamil Manram is a secular, non-profit, non-political, and non-partisan organization. It has been serving the San Francisco bay area since 1980. It was started as a group for like-minded Tamils to socialize and has grown into a strong organization of what it is now.
